I love Alfa Spiders – they’re kind of like my Kryptonite. My first car was an Alfa Spider, though it had its issues – pretty much all down to the rust-riddled body and me without the benefit of the internet for parts access and YouTube “how to” videos… And available funds to dump into my car. But I digress..

It’s probably a good thing I have a Miata that is permanently parked in the garage, or I’d probably be on the prowl for another Alfa. This 1979 is a fabulous example, despite big bumpers. Come along for a quick walkaround and drive – you may just start to understand the appeal!
